How to take orders on WhatsApp with a simple website
Many small shops sell through WhatsApp. A simple website with your products, prices and an order button that opens a chat makes it easier to find you and to buy.

In many countries small shops already sell mostly through WhatsApp: customers see a photo, send a message, agree on the details and pay. That works well, but a chat is hard to find on Google and hard to share. A simple website fixes that without changing how you sell.
What the website does
- Shows your products with a photo, a short description and, if you want, a price.
- Has an Order button on each product that opens a WhatsApp chat with you.
- Answers the usual questions before they are asked: where you are, delivery or pickup, payment, opening hours.
- Gives you one link to put on Instagram, Google Maps, flyers and your shop window.
How the WhatsApp link works
WhatsApp opens a chat from a link like https://wa.me/ followed by your number in international format, digits only, without the plus sign or leading zeros. For example, a number in Indonesia written as +62 812 3456 7890 becomes https://wa.me/6281234567890. Test the link on your own phone before you share it.
Products: fewer, better photos
- Start with your best sellers, not your whole stock.
- Photograph each product on a plain background in daylight.
- Write the price the way you say it to customers, with the currency, and update it when it changes.
Say how buying works
Three short steps are enough: choose a product, send a message, pay and receive. Say which payment methods you accept and whether you deliver, ship or only do pickup. People hesitate when they cannot tell.
When you need a real online shop
If you get many orders a day, need stock counts, or want customers to pay by card on the site, you have outgrown a WhatsApp catalogue and need a shop with a cart and checkout. Until then, a simple catalogue plus a chat is quicker to set up and easier to run.

The Market design is a storefront for exactly this: your products in a grid on grey tiles, each with its photo and a price exactly as you write it, and every Order button, plus the buttons in the header and at the end of the page, opening WhatsApp when you add a number (or your contact page if you do not). Market has no cart, card payment or stock: orders come to you by message or through the contact form. See the Market design.
